Who can enter?

Anyone 18 or older (and of legal age where they live), except residents of Italy, Brazil, Portugal and the Province of Quebec, and wherever contests like this are prohibited by local law. Employees of the sponsor, the judges, and their immediate families and households can’t enter.

Do I have to buy a book?

No. No purchase necessary, and buying a book won’t increase your chances of winning. You can color one of the 6 pages we send you, on us.

How many pages can I enter?

One page per person, so pick your favorite. A photo, a scan or a short video of it is fine.

Do I have to join the Facebook group?

Only if you want to enter there. An admin approves new members, so ask to join a day or two early. Or enter on Instagram (tag @specialart_coloring) or TikTok (tag @specialartbooks), with #SpecialArtHalloween.

Do I have to follow you?

No. To enter, you only need our tag and #SpecialArtHalloween, so we can find your page. Follow us to see the finalists, vote, and get our message if you win.

How are winners chosen, and when are they announced?

Saemi Oliveira and the Special Art team pick 10 finalists (creativity 40%, use of color 40%, overall impression 20%). On November 1, we post them, numbered, on Instagram @specialart_coloring and in our Facebook group. Vote until November 3, 11:59 p.m. ET by commenting the number on either post: one vote per account on each, replies don’t count, and the votes are added up. The three finalists with the most votes win. If votes tie, the judges’ score decides. Winners are announced on or about November 4.

Is there something for everyone?

Yes! After the contest, everyone who signed up and shared an eligible entry gets a free digital coloring booklet by email (about 15–20 pages from a Special Art coloring book). It’s a thank-you, not a prize.

Who are the judges?

Illustrator Saemi Oliveira (@saemiart), who drew Spooky Halloween, Spooky Things and Spooky Christmas, together with the Special Art team. They score every eligible page on creativity (40%), use of color (40%), and overall impression (20%), and pick 10 finalists.

Can my child enter?

The contest is for adults 18 and older, and each entry is a page colored by the person who posts it. Coloring with your children? Their pages are always welcome in the Your Pages thread in our Facebook group (just the page, please). They aren’t contest entries, and we love seeing them there.

When are the winners announced?

On or about November 4, 2026, in our Facebook group and on @specialart_coloring. We also contact each winner by direct message or comment. Reply within 7 days with your shipping address to get your books.

How will you use my page?

Your page stays yours. By entering, you let us share it with credit (your name or @handle, as you choose) on our social media, newsletter and website, without further compensation. Want it taken down? Write to support@specialartbooks.com and we’ll remove it.

What about my privacy?

We use the information you share to run the contest and send the prizes and, only if you tick the box on the sign-up form, to send you our emails. You can unsubscribe at any time. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

I live outside the U.S. Can I enter?

Yes, unless you live in Italy, Brazil, Portugal or the Province of Quebec, or wherever contests like this are prohibited by local law. Winners choose their books from our catalog, and we send them to their country. If that’s not possible, we’ll offer another prize of similar value.

Special Art Halloween Coloring Contest 2026 · Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor

The Special Art Halloween Coloring Contest 2026 (the “Special Art Halloween Contest,” “Special Art Coloring Contest” or “Contest”) is organized by Special Art (“Special Art,” “we”), a brand of CAPITAL S.R.L., Via Monte Canin 18, 33010 Tavagnacco (UD), Italy, VAT IT03051320301 (the “Sponsor”). Questions: support@specialartbooks.com.

2. Who can enter

The Contest is open to individuals who, at the time of entry, are 18 years of age or older and have reached the age of majority in their place of residence. Residents of Italy, Brazil, Portugal and the Province of Quebec (Canada) are not eligible, and neither are residents of countries or regions subject to comprehensive U.S. or EU sanctions. The Contest is also void wherever else it is prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of the Sponsor, the judges, and the members of their immediate families and households are not eligible.

3. Contest period

The Contest starts on October 18, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends on October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Contest Period”).

4. How to enter

  1. Sign up with your email at the top of this page (specialartbooks.com/pages/halloween-contest) to get the 6 pages to color, on us. Signing up is optional if you enter on Instagram, TikTok or in our Facebook group: it gets you the 6 pages and, after the Contest, the thank-you booklet by email.
  2. Color a page from Spooky Halloween, Spooky Things or Spooky Christmas (illustrated by Saemi Oliveira), from Happy Halloween (illustrated by Inna), or one of the 6 pages we send you.
  3. Share your finished page (a photo, a scan or a short video) during the Contest Period, in ONE of these ways:
    • in our Facebook group “Special Art - Artwork” (facebook.com/groups/681139305973179): join the group (anyone can ask to join; the group admins approve requests), then add your page as a comment on the pinned Contest post; or
    • on Instagram, from a public account, with the hashtag #SpecialArtHalloween and the tag @specialart_coloring; or
    • on TikTok, from a public account, with the hashtag #SpecialArtHalloween and the tag @specialartbooks.

On Instagram and TikTok, the tag and the hashtag are required: without them we can’t find your page. In our Facebook group, just add your page as a comment on the pinned Contest post. Following us is not required, but we invite you to follow us so you don’t miss the finalists, the vote and our message if you win. Entries posted on a personal Facebook profile are not accepted (Facebook’s rules): on Facebook, please use our group.

Our official profiles:

Limit: one (1) entry per person. The page must be colored by you. Entries that are offensive, copied, or that include other people’s personal information will not be accepted.

Please also add #contest to your caption, so people can see that your post is a Contest entry. Your post must stay public until the winners are announced. Pages colored by children are welcome in the “Your Pages” thread of our Facebook group, but they are not Contest entries. Please don’t include photos, names or other personal information of children, or of anyone else, in your entry.

5. How winners are chosen

Step 1 · Finalists. After the Contest Period, a panel of judges chosen by the Sponsor, including illustrator Saemi Oliveira (@saemiart), will review all eligible entries and select ten (10) finalists. They score them on:

  • creativity (40%);
  • use of color (40%);
  • overall impression (20%).

Before the finalists are published, the Sponsor will ask the selected entrants to confirm in writing their age and country of residence (for Canada, the province). An entrant who is not eligible, or does not reply in time, is replaced by the next highest-scoring entry.

Step 2 · Community vote. On November 1, 2026, the Sponsor will publish the 10 finalist entries, numbered and credited, in one post on Instagram @specialart_coloring and in the same post in the Facebook group “Special Art - Artwork”. From publication until November 3, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET (“Voting Period”), anyone may vote by commenting the number of their favorite entry on either post. One vote per account on each platform: only the first comment with a valid number counts, and replies to other comments are not votes. Votes from the two posts are added up. Reactions, likes, comments posted after the Voting Period and comments anywhere else are not votes. The three (3) finalists with the most votes win first, second and third place. In case of a tie, the entry with the higher jury score ranks higher. Votes must be genuine: no one may offer or accept anything in exchange for votes, or use bots, purchased votes, multiple accounts or vote-exchange groups. The Sponsor counts the votes and may disqualify votes or finalists if it reasonably believes these rules were broken.

6. Prizes

  • First place (1): five (5) Special Art books of the winner’s choice. Approximate retail value (ARV): US$75.
  • Second place (1): three (3) Special Art books of the winner’s choice. ARV: US$45.
  • Third place (1): two (2) Special Art books of the winner’s choice. ARV: US$30.

Total: ten (10) books, total ARV: US$150. Books are chosen from Special Art titles available on the Amazon marketplace of the winner’s country (for example Amazon.com, .co.uk, .ca, .de, .fr, .es, .com.au) and are shipped by Amazon to the winner’s address. If Amazon cannot deliver Special Art books to the winner’s country, the Sponsor will offer an alternative prize of similar value. No cash alternative. Prizes cannot be transferred. The Sponsor pays for the books, their shipping and any import charges, and orders each prize within thirty (30) days after the winner sends a valid shipping address. Any taxes on a prize are the winner’s responsibility, except where the law requires the Sponsor to withhold or pay them. Total number of prizes: three (3). Chances of winning depend on the number and quality of the eligible entries received and on the votes received by the finalists.

Thank-you gift for every participant: after the Contest, every person who signed up and shared an eligible entry receives by email a digital coloring booklet, on us (about 15-20 pages from a Special Art coloring book, chosen by the Sponsor). It is not a prize of the Contest and has no cash value.

7. Winner notification

Winners will be announced on or about November 4, 2026, in the Facebook group and on @specialart_coloring. They will also be contacted by direct message or comment. A winner who does not reply within seven (7) days with a shipping address loses the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.

Before a prize is ordered, the Sponsor may ask a winner to confirm in writing that they meet the eligibility requirements (age and place of residence). A winner residing in Canada must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. Except where prohibited by law, winners agree that the Sponsor may publish their name or @handle, country and winning entry, without further compensation. For the list of winners, write to support@specialartbooks.com by December 31, 2026.

8. Your page and our use of it

You keep the copyright in your coloring. The line art belongs to the Sponsor and its illustrators: you may post a photo, scan or video of your colored page for this Contest and for your personal, non-commercial use.

By entering, you give the Sponsor a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to reshare, repost, display and reproduce your entry, with credit (your name or @handle, as you choose), and to resize or crop it to fit the format, on Special Art Books’ social media channels, newsletter and website, to promote the Contest and our community. The license lasts for twenty-four (24) months after the Contest ends; posts already published may stay online unless you ask us to remove them. We will not use your entry on products or in books for sale, or in paid advertising, without asking you first.

You confirm that the entry is your own coloring, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not show other people, or their personal information, without their permission.

Want an entry removed? Write to support@specialartbooks.com and we will take it down from our channels.

Why, and on what legal basis: to send you the pages, run the Contest, send you Contest emails (reminders, finalists, results, the thank-you booklet), check eligibility, prevent fraud and deliver prizes. We send you our newsletter only if you tick the box on the form (consent, art. 6(1)(a)); ticking it is not required to enter or win, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who receives it: our service providers (Shopify for the website, MailerLite for emails, Google Workspace for the list of entries), the judges, and, for winners only, Amazon to deliver the books. We publish the finalists’ and winners’ names or @handles. Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, under an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights: you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy, by writing to support@specialartbooks.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). More in our Privacy Policy.

  • If the Contest cannot run as planned, the Sponsor may modify or cancel it.
  • By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to the judges’ decisions, which are final.
  • These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you enter as a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late or not visible because of technical problems or social network settings. Nothing in these Official Rules limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
